Back to this rusty old blog

Okayy hi it's me again, back to this rusty old blog, its been more than a year I left this blog lol. Soo yeah, One of the reasons that I stop blogging (other than being a lazy ass) is that I didn't get A SINGLE INTERVIEW after my SPM results came out. I was really devastated , crushed, like was my results that bad? Oh just for you to know, Alhamdulillah, I achieved 9A and 1B for my SPM yayyy, to top it off I got 4A+ and only 1 A- (takde la power sangt huh), okay do ur own math. I thought I did good, but avast it was still not enough to compete with other brainy students. But then I realised that it's not my rezeki and I should work harder next time. To think of it, I was not that, what they called "rajin" in studying haha.  Orang lain lebih layak la tu. Plus, my speaking skills was not so good back then, now I realized that I need to polish my soft skills. It sounds like a stupid excuse kan, well, my intention of creating this blog was to talk about interview sessions at first because I was inspired by these kind of blogs, but now I'll keep on blogging to share experience.

Okay done ranting.....

Fyi I didn't get the scholarships mentioned in the earlier post. Actually I'm glad I didn't get it. Like an average SPM leaver, I applied to further my studies using UPU. And guess what, I got PASUM! It was a heck of a ride. Ofc bangga bila dpt sambung dkat UM, like the oldest and the most prestigious University in Malaysia kott. From an average sekolah harian to a top notch university was really a big leap for me. I will be studying along side top students in Malaysia, gila tak bangga lol haha, a bit scared gak awal2. I'll share my experience in the next post.

Now?

yeah I just finished my foundation on april, and currently waiting for my first year degree to begin. Still waiting for the UPU and UM admission results too tho. As a pasumian we need to apply through 2 mediums and I hope I get the course that I want! The competition is really high tho especially competing with fellow pasumians and the course I wanted happens to be really in demand ugh haha. Doakan aku pls. AND I also became the facilitator (FP) for MSKP1819 (read: PASUM orientation). It was such an experience srs tak menyesal tido 3jam setiap hari cuz we had a lots of fun. I'm gonna share this one too in my next post!

Now now?!

legitly right now I'm a penganggur :')) I quit my job in early July so that I can be an FP. (pengorbanan gue). andd since I'm bored, I decide to blog.

Scholarship using trial SPM result

heyyoo Assalamualaikum. Post kali ini ditargetkan untuk dak2 batch 00 dan seterusnya sbb kami 99' dah habis spm dan dh dpt dh pun results wohoo..kalau ada yang sebaya tu saya ucapkan tahniah atas keputusan kita semua cemerlang mahupun kurang. Kalau keputusan spm agak tidak memuaskan, ingat SPM bukan lah segala-galanya rezeki masing2 la katakan yang penting kita berusaha...dan kepada yang dapat A lurus tu tahniah dan teruskan kejayaan..

Okay back to the topic, can we use SPM trial results to apply for scholarships??

Tak percaya? saya telah membuktikan yang saya telah berjaya dipanggil untuk interview(iv je pun belum dpt lg :P )

The first scholarship that I applied for was MJHEP scholarship

Biasiswa ni disediakan oleh pihak MARA. Dulu (tahun berapa tah) biasiswa ni hanya terbuka kepada pelajar MRSM sahaja...ye la anak MARA kan. Tapi sekarang dibuka kepada semua pelajar yang layak tak kira la dari sbp ke sekolah harian, asalkan cukup syarat. Biasiswa ni tak sama dengan biasiswa SPC(skim pelajar cemerlang) atau MARA eduloan tu....biasiswa ni 100% biasiswa semua ditanggung..(tapi semasa hari saya interview pegawai mara cakap kemungkinan perlu bayar balik 10% kerana keadaan ekonomi malaysia sekarang dan mara pun kurenngg sikit). Wait till my next post about my experience in this interview! 

ohh ye MJHEP tu maksudnya MARA JAPAN HIGHER EDUCATION PROGRAMME, so belajar dekat JAPAN la nnti...(inner otaku screams). The best part is upon completing this programme you will get a diploma AND a degree in just 5 YEARS

You will get both in the period of time for one. Tengok bawah ⇓⇓

So sapa yang nak belajar overseas tapi taknak fly awal inilah yang terbaik bagimu~
Sapa yang baca post ni mohon la doakan saya dapat biasiswa ni 😭. Ohh lupa program ni hanya menawarkan course Electrical Engineering dan Mechanical Engineering. Nak tau saya pilih apa wait for my iv experience!

#2 scholarship that i applied for and got an interview session was MNRB scholarship

MNRB is a reinsurance company....maksudnya dia bagi insurance dekat company insurance lain...haha nampak tak syarikat ni macam taikoo besar la. Aku dapat tahu pasal scholarship ni dari cousin aku melalui wassap grup cousinsss and dia pun antara scholar so aku apply je la. Masa nak apply tu sumpah malas sebab kena buat essay bagai.. so tangguh2 sampai la sehari sblm deadline haha(typical me) so disebabkan benda ni bkn apply online dan kene pos buat aku lg kelam kabut ah haha....soo aku post la semua borang essay gune pos laju yg harga 15.70 kot sebab DEADLINE dia ESOK TU terpaksa la labur duit nak hantar. And Alhamdulillah dapat panggilan interview. Okay experience tunggu next post hehe... dan masa iv tu coincidentally dapat grup dgn yg sekepala ngan aku which is dorg pun hantar borg sehari sebelum dengan parcel poslaju yg keras tu..well we all laughed haha dan masetu jugakla lift rosak haih okay dah2.

For this scholarship, I applied for IT course.. yeah because other courses are more to finance and IT was kinda fun to learn... DO APPLY! If otak korang Otak nombor try applying for Actuarial Science course...my cousin took tht and his gaji masyukk woo and his the scholar tht i mention earlier.

Other than those scholarships, I didnt applied for any other using my trial result. And if u guys did not get any calls for interview.. remember tht for the real SPM results ada lagi banyak scholarship yang boleh apply.

Intro- who is mie?

Assalamualaikum and hi! 
Okay my name is hilmi and i'm new to this blogging thing. Actually, I wanted to make a blog like right after spm but well being typical me i drag the whole thing until now(4 days till result hua) haha. I have the ideas but too lazy to type and today i forced myself to start. The main reason i want to do a blog is because i'm a blog reader. i get inspired by people that i came across through blogs and most of it when i was researching on the tertiary level education like uni courses, matrics, foundation, etc. These blogs really helped me so why not i do the same to others, right. FYI, i'm not very good in english so u grammar nazis back off haha and most of my future post will be in bm kot. ohh ya, in this blog i'll share my knowledge, experience and opinions (although my life is not that adventurous as you peeps but i"ll try). Soooo, i hope you guys(acah ada readers) will enjoy my writing or typing uh...pls read and if theres anything u wanna ask there is a box below every post that u  can put your thoughts there called "comment".
